Surely the logical outcome of this 'decision' is every PM who has prorogued Parliament prior to a Queens Speech where there was outstanding business or an international incident/negotiation still ongoing has also broken the law (I would imagine that is ALL of them?)

What impact does this have for the future? Labour might be doing cartwheels ATM but what happens if in the future a future Labour Government wants to introduce a new Queens Speech where the NHS receives significant funding increases?

If there are Bills which haven't yet passed through Parliament (happens all the time) or there is a an ongoing trade negotiation with a small Pacific Island a rich Tory donor could go to Court and put a stop to the proroguing (and the Queens Speech) as the precedence has now been set that Parliament must scrutinise the work of the Government.

In theory this could go on indefinitely as it would be easy to find things around the world which the opposition would claim they need to scrutinise.

You have to wonder. Labour, LibDems, SNP, PC & Greens are all enjoying Boris' setbacks but they seem to be losing sight that the more he is humiliated the bigger his Poll lead becomes?

Probably because the population don't like those who cheat democracy and failing to honour the 2016 referendum result is the biggest cheat ever.

That is problem created it does leave parliament open to challenges from people like Miller or a political party if they dont want or like what PM or party is doing? As for proloug that can be questioned every time this happens in future .... :old:

Too right! It's unbelievable how a money corrupt, Eton snob has convinced half of the working class Welsh population that 'he's delivering Brexit for their benefit'

Wales voted to leave the EU.

Why? Probably many reasons. However, whatever their reasons we should have left by now. We haven't. No point now in further referenda unless of course they deliver the 'right' answer.

Surely the logical outcome of this 'decision' is every PM who has prorogued Parliament prior to a Queens Speech where there was outstanding business or an international incident/negotiation still ongoing has also broken the law (I would imagine that is ALL of them?)The outcome was not proroguing was unlawful but that this particular prorogation was as it misled the queen as to the reason for it.

What impact does this have for the future? Labour might be doing cartwheels ATM but what happens if in the future a future Labour Government wants to introduce a new Queens Speech where the NHS receives significant funding increases? Thats would be after an election and a dissolution so no problem there.

Thats the nub of the ruling,i.e that parliment has the right to scrutinise any executive. The judgement merely inforced what has always been there.

In theory this could go on indefinitely as it would be easy to find things around the world which the opposition would claim they need to scrutinise.
Lets hope so as its always been the same up to now.Its only a problem when an executive tries to use it illegally but thankfully todays ruling has stopped that.

Could we as voters take All MPS to court for NOT carrying out what we democratically voted for. IE to come out off Europe and in fact they have voted AGAINST what we the people elected them to do

Well this miller woman took boris to court so it's more than likely same thing will happen again by a person with an agenda against PM or a political party? This is the potential can of worms opened. :old:

Because backing a prime minister fighting against remain MPs to implement a democratic vote is such a terrible thing.

And the country spoke, 17.4 million majority vote.
Boris is morally right in his persuit of Brexit. Unless you don't believe in democracy...
