Since 2000 and excluding caretaker managers, we've had 10 managers since Frankie Burrows departed in our 1999/2000 relegation season.
Billy Ayre - sadly passed away.
Bobby Gould - disappeared into oblivion.
Alan Cork - no further decent management jobs.
Lennie Lawrence - no further decent management jobs.
Dave Jones - brief unsuccessful spell at Sheffield Wednesday.
Malky Mackay - sacked under a cloud, never reemployed.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - returned to Norway, no signs that he'd take over at Man Utd.
Russell Slade - biggest job of his career, not got close to the Championship since.
Paul Trollope - cheap option after Slade was sacked. Not likely to get a decent management job again.
Neil Warnock - possibly his last managerial job.

So the conclusion is the Cardiff job is a managerial graveyard?

I don’t get what your getting at plus half of your statements are wrong.
Gould- Had other jobs after us and was already pretty old
Cork- went into coaching and scouting
Lawrence- plenty of assistant manager/sporting director jobs
Dave Jones- Also awful at Hartlepool career likely over
Milky- Managed Wigan after us and now works for Scottish FA
Ole- Went back to being successful at Molde now st United
Slade- almost constantly employed after us
Trollope- Just shite so was never gonna make it as a manager again
Warnock- in his 70’s so understanble he would want to retire.

We've probably had just as many in the twenty odd years prior to 2000, I mean since I've been following City, 76/77 season;
Jimmy Andrews, RIP.
Richie Morgan.
Graham Williams.
Len Ashurst (twice).
Jimmy Goodfellow.
Alan Durban.
Frank Burrows (twice).
Eddie May, (twice), RIP.
Terry Yorath.
Kenny Hibbitt (twice).
Phil Neal.
Russell Osman.
