What's happened to all the talk of us signing one or two free agent players during the international break?

We are crying out for a couple of midfielders and I wouldn't mind a left back to give Bennett some competition.

I don’t think it was ever on the cards, looks like the injured players are on their way back now.

Its been suggested everyone we spoke to wanted inflated wages and longer contracts than we were willing to give.

While I don’t disagree about a left back it would make Warnock look a bit stupid paying 5m for a left back last season and then loaning him out and then picking up a free agent no doubt on over inflated wages on a longer deal.

There is a reason these players are free agents, they either think they are better than they are, they are looking to squeeze every penny they can or just not very good.

I would imagine our wage bill is big enough with all the strikers we have anyway lol

Looks like Lewis Holtby may be going to Blackburn.

Looked a good fit for us as a playmaker.

Any news on Traore who was supposedly training with us?

Just a smoke screen,we were never going to get a free agent in,just was said to please the fans,loads available and would improve the team but we won’t pay the money out

Pity about Lewis H as he would have been a good signing .....others wouldn’t add anything imo
