Playing football which is light years ahead of us.
Direct, no shortage of skill and players so comfortable on the ball.

Are we going to get this post every time another team plays well?

Unfortunately our fans keep banging on about other teams playing style compared to ours ! Premiership football is light years ahead of championship so hardly good comparison Norwich or any other team? Normally its Fulham and Swansea we need to aspire to but sorry that's paint drying compared to Norwich man c!

We play how manager wants and thats way it is good and bad and it did ok last season?

If it was so easy to pick up a style and be successful then everyone would do it.
Fair play to Norwich they have done brilliantly and what a result.
I don't believe they are lightyears ahead, things can change very quickly.

Trouble is lots teams are doing play out from goal line in championship thanks to new rules and its changing game to a slow boring pace outside premier league that is! Fulham at home is a classic example, I'm sure we could do same with players we have and a manager who plays that way but to me it will mute my enjoyment of box to box football ....

I reckon we could beat Man City 3-2 in the Premier League, with a Premier League squad.

At least in this case they are talking about a good team rather than Fulham who are shite and have finished below us for years but still get bummed by many on here

Good post as I watched the game and really enjoyed the style in which Norwich played.
I agree they were years ahead of us with a similar style but so, so much better.
Something to aspire to but Warnock is way too negative for this.

I was really impressed with how Norwich played. What makes it frustrating is that it’s not much different to how we set up and play. Obviously they have got much more quality in the team but the formation was the same, they were aggressive on and off the ball- when they didn’t have the ball they pressed hard and when they had the ball they were direct with their passing. The main difference is they kept the ball on the floor though. We seem to play with the hope of Glatzel doing something with a poor long ball or we hope to win the second ball. So the majority of the time we just give the ball back to the opposition. Annoying because we would have much more possession if we didn’t look to go long so often and It would also give the midfield a chance to give Glatzel some support.

Until we get a manager that gets our team to play football that isn’t predictable , dated and frustrating to watch every time we take our seat, then YES

We did beat them 3-2,so what's so funny

,and may I add, without a premier league squad,in our first foray, just as Norwich have done.
