Competition at left back

My only concern is the form of Bennett..
He is nowhere near his best and seems to be struggling.
Option at resting him are limited .

He was a bit quiet but if he's fit he has to play.

His £4million competition for a place is playing for Blackburn

I think his great previous seasons is giving him (all due) credit, but he has not been very good so far this season.

Bonner, in what context is Bennetts form your only concern?

Our striker is yet to score in open play, we have no midfield creativity whatsoever, limited and questionable midfield cover and no cover at right back either. Our best number 10 is either out of favour, unfit or unavailable for other reasons and sir neil persists with a really likeable chap who he signed as a right back and now looks out of his depth in the role he plays in.

Im a big fan of Bennett but I reckon subconsciously he's become complacent due to not having any competition at LB. He could have the worst game of his career and know he'll not be dropped. That's never good.

I think we are improving as a team, creating chances, however, Bennett Is the weak link in defence, seems to have forgotten how to tackle.
