OMG. Unbelievable. Ridiculous. No doubt his swollen ankle will mean ankle ligament damage. For most this would be 2 weeks out - Patterson 2 hours. For Jazz it will be 6-8 weeks before a gentle phased return to work. On full pay of course. Pathetic.

How much have we paid Jazz and Connolly over the last 2 years and for how much playing time?
Something fishy imo. Dodgy agent or someone's getting an envelope.

I wish we'd terminate his contract and just pay the rest of it off just so we don't have to hear the same crap about Jazz every week.

This is all pretty unfathomable.
What on earth is going on with this guy.
If he was fit he would, arguably, be first choice at right back but the number of different injuries he gets is unbelievable. Is there an underlying problem with either him or the way we train him ?

I read they could have last summer but chose to extend.

i feel this was a board decision rather than a warnock one. i don't even think trollope wanted him, i remember tan wanted welsh players in the squad and think it might be because at the moment i think he's the only welsh boy, there maybe the board wanted to keep him.

Feel sorry for the player himself as it must be extremely frustrating for him.
However it seems clear that for whatever reason his body is just not up to the task of coping with the demands placed on it by professional football and really he should be thinking of calling it a day no matter how difficult a call that would be.
He can't help being injured but he must feel a bit uncomfortable being paid whilst being constantly unable to earn his money?

Well he can help being injured because one clown on here suggested he was putting it on and throwing a sickie
I think he and other professional footballers are 100% ok with being paid whist injured and don’t feel uncomfortable at all.
Under contract, they’re right to be paid of course.

Good player but never fit....More likely to get a part at Holby City than Cardiff City

Some idiots on here are naive enough to think that players never fake injurys... Going back to the original post the whole injury situation is ridiculous I just hope he gets a complete and positive recovery on full pay for 6 months.

There’s a big difference to faking an injury to ‘throwing a sickie’ for two or three years
He’s no different to your Andy Carroll’s or Jack Wilshere’s who have a body that’s not up to the rigours of professional football it seems. I’m pretty sure they haven’t been throwing a sickie for the last god knows how many years.
Just try to understand that he’s injured, he starts to get fit again no doubt dying to play and resurrect his City and Wales career - and then gets injured again.
It’s shit but it happens to lots of players.
