Lee Tomlin
By Tom Coleman
Only a few months ago, few would have believed Tomlin would pull on a Cardiff City shirt again.
But following an extraordinary summer in which the player showed off the fruits of a punishing personal training regime , Tomlin has admirably battled his way back into the fold following various personal problems off the pitch.
The player himself said back in June how he was determined to become a Cardiff idol and, while we've not yet seen Tomlin at his very best, his inclusions in recent starting XIs suggest he is firmly in Warnock's thoughts.
There are promising signs of an understanding being struck up with striker Robert Glatzel too, although the manager's reluctance to give him a full 90 minutes suggests there are still some lingering concerns over his fitness.
If Tomlin can build on the progress already made, he will offer the creative spark Cardiff have been so desperately crying out for.

Deserves his chance. Looks as though he has worked hard to get in shape and got his head sorted. We look so much better when he's playing
