Just two players involved from Cardiff on Transfer day

Mon Sep 02, 2019 6:17 pm

NO SENIOR PLAYERS IN OR OUT OF CARDIFF CITY TODAY ON TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY .

It was expected that Gary Madine might go on loan and Warnock had hinted one or two new players in on loan.

But these were the only movements

Young Cardiff City duo on the move

Two Cardiff youngsters have made the move to the Welsh Premier League today.

We're already had one deadline day. But the transfer window has officially shut (again) today.

Windows across Europe remained open, with clubs in Scotland, Spain, Germany and France all able to buy and loan players, along with with sides in League One and League Two.

Who expected Madine to go out on loan?

I can’t see foreign team wanting him and nobody in league 1 or 2 can afford him.

Seems your youth system is still good at producing players good enough to play in the league of Wales. The best two players it has produced recently are playing for Wrexham and Hereford so the standard seems to be going down rather than up.

Our transfer window, for CHAMPIONSHIP clubs bringing players in, closed on the same day as the Premier League's window. Since then, we have only been able to bring in free agents. The original post says "It was expected that Gary Madine might go on loan and Warnock had hinted one or two new players in on loan."
