Better, but a long way to go.

If we are to be serious contenders for the play offs there is still plenty of room for improvement. firstly you couldn't have two more contrasting teams, us direct and Fulham taking possestion football to a new level, talk about OTT, they were passing sideways at times just for the sake of it. But i do feel that they were definately getting on top of us and looked the likely winners before Arter was rightly sent off. As for us, yes it was a vast improvement on the Reading game,(what wouldn't be) and we seem to be steadying the ship so to speak but there are still many worries for me, our defence seem to go into panic mode when we are being attacked it looks like a lack of confidence to me and the least said about that defending for their goal the better. We also defended far too deep for large amounts of the game, now i know this was Warnocks plan to hit them on the counter attack but surely at home we should be taking the game to all our opponents ?? Tomlin, our only playmaker in the team is not getting on the ball enough it seems to be passing him by, our two wingers, Whyte seems too light weight and gets pushed off the ball far too easily and Murphy who has the most quality in our squad seems to go missing for large parts of a game. Finally we do not create enough chances and considering we have 5 strikers (most kicking thier heels in the stiffs) why doesn't Warnock try two upfront and foffiet one of our wingers???

He's probably our most consistent, (when fully fit) but i still feel Murphy has the most quality on the ball but goes missing.
