Cannot see a last minute buyer like bury as no time to put deal together they've had weeks to sort out this particular sale. Looks like the end of Bolton as we know it.

Looks like its about a loan to be repaid to former owner Ken Anderson and Bolton have no further monies to pay staff etc.
Shocking for Bolton , looks very grim indeed.
Why owners play with fans emotions is beyond me.

This is not 1st time a deal as been done but someone as stopped it being completed for one reason or other at point of signing? This is why efl say enough is enough. Think if look at it there are massive debts to creditors that need to be paid and probably no one wants to be liable for them. If remember main creditor the previous owner before last one wrote off his debt leaving businesses ect owed money and that was not an insignificant amount...

Just like Bury, they have been given more than enough time and patience by the EFL to get things sorted.
It's sad to see and feel for the fans.

More than enough time but this was a high
probability this was going to happen as upto a couple years ago had debt of around 160m 100m or do was written off by late owner before club taken over.. biggest problem could be if get demoted to lower leagues how can they afford upkeep of stadium with what could be very low crowds? It's a mess the situation

If they went to the lower leagues they wouldn’t have that stadium.
They’d be a new team.

I hope Mr Tan has contingency plans in place, should anything happen to him. Bolton’s problems date back to a generous owner who sadly passed away. We must have a similar level of debt with Mr Tan so I hope he remains in good health for many years to come.

If NW hadn't got us promoted where we we be.
The parachute money had ran out
Theres quite a few clubs living on the edge.
Would VT sell the stadium to himself

No cant sell stadium to anyone without Express permission of council but that would be unlikely in the extreme given reasons for such a thing in 1st place! and tbh after recent debarcles with various clubs it wont happen.

Good point but their owner wrote off his debt but still left 50/60m to creditor hence the problem they've got... we only basically owe tan money so hopefully there is a plan in place
