Bristol City complete Williams signing. Wales defender and national captain Ashley Williams has joined the club on a short-term basis. The six-foot former Swansea City, Everton and Stoke City centre-back will boost Lee Johnson's defensive options until mid-January with the option to extend his contract.

He’s gone has been for the last 2-3 years. He should have retired from international duty following the 2018 WC qualifiers.

We don’t need him in the squad now either we have better options at CB.
