Beat Fulham and 10 points from 6 isn’t bad it’s about par for Playoffs. Need to up that to getting 13+ from the other groups of 6 games to be in a top 2 race.

Be interesting game against them as midweek 84% today 77% possession expect similar against us! so crucial we dont waste any chances that comes our way

I suspect it’s slowly sinking in now with our fans just how far ahead the jacks are of us. They will be right up there all season IMO and a major contender for promotion.

They will drop to midtable somewhere between 12th and 8th by the end of the season. Fantastic start by them though actually keeping and playing Bastion and Ayew massive for them as the rest of their squad is pretty average.

Just being realistic. You talk as though possession football is a bad thing. It’s hard to score when you haven’t got the ball and they’ve scored plenty themselves this season. As far as I know scoring in the 70th minute counts the same as scoring after 70 secs! How late did we score to edge past an average Luton team?

As for playing badly, sometimes teams just aren’t allowed to play. Sadly we are at the level where we can dictate the flow of a game as we can’t keep the ball.

You said in this thread that we couldn’t score until the 70th minute. The truth is we had already scored 2 by the 70th minute and could have easily have scored 4.

All quite pointless really. As my late mate Brian Clark would say "read the paper tomorrow".
