Danny Williams ex reading huddersfield
Cheikh D'oye ex Birmingham
Jack Rodwell ex Blackburn
Mile Jedinak ex villa

Realistic players that have played in championship that I think could do a job till January

Jedinak would be a shout - midfield general that could slot in until Pack is fit. Wouldn’t be too keen on taking the others though.

The Jack Rodwell of 5 years ago would be a great signing.

Not sure what he is like now he seems to have issues

Rodwell must be minted after all those years on huge contracts and hardly playing.

Perhaps he'd come for a packet of polos and a Greggs steak bake.

Decent players there. Danny Simpson, Danny Williams, could do a job, Mathews as cover? Fernando Bob just to have Bob on a shirt? Holtby still free, jedinak, gamboa is free too, probably decent RB at this level. Few still around.
