I have a feeling we will be lucky to see Bamba play any more than half a dozen games again, but I hope I’m wrong !
A bad injury at his age is always hard to come back from, but when you add in the way he commits himself and the high tempo of the championship I just can’t see him coming back to be a regular starter again.
Plus there is a lot of talk about his managerial credentials and the amount of media work he is doing (don’t blame him mind) has he already got one eye on his next venture anyway ?
All speculation of course, and as I said I would love to see him back playing regularly but that’s me thinking with my heart and my head tells me otherwise.
Thoughts and or opinions ?

Bamba will be back, he's a determined man and loves this club, I think he's desperate to start playing again and will do everything he can to ensure he's fit and able for this season at the very least.

I think he will be a bit part player as back up this season
Then he will be our Manager when Warnock retires

Bamba told us on Wednesday that he will be returning after the international break - He is back in training with first team squad and looking forward to getting back.

Of course, bamba will be back stronger than ever before. replacing flint ovs because bamba and morrison have such a strong chemistry and long may that continue.

Agree.
He won't play much again. As the OP says, an injury like he had and at his age is hard to get back to normal from.

All depends what sort of form we are in when he is fit. If we are struggling no doubt Warnock will chuck him in.
I don't see him as manager myself.

Neither do I, but my gut feeling is Warnock is grooming him for the role.

We certainly need his leadership and would always be the first name at CH for me, dont think NW will drop either Mozza or Flint so only see him playing at DM occasionally.

Drop Morrison. No brainer. And that will allow us to release one of the 2 holding CM to support further up the pitch.

No Brainer?! Probably our best defender last 2 games and our captain. Of course.

Only a person with no brain would drop our captain
