About Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn Rovers Football Club is a professional football club in Blackburn, Lancashire, England, which competes in the Championship, the second tier of the English football league system, following promotion from League One at the end of the 2017–18 season.

The club was established in 1875, becoming a founding member of The Football League in 1888 and the Premier League in 1992. In 1890, Rovers moved to Ewood Park. Blackburn Rovers have been English champions three times, and have won six FA Cups, one Football League Cup and one Full Members' Cup. The club's motto is "Arte et Labore", "By Skill and Hard Work" in Latin.

We last played Blackburn in March 2017. The Championship fixture at Ewood Park finished 1-1. Kenneth Zohore gave us a first half lead, but Derrick Williams' late goal secure a point for the hosts.

I think after this game we are going to have a better understanding of where our season is going to go.

I hope Warnock does his usual thing and turns it right back around we play well and win.

If he doesn’t and we play shite for the 5th game in a row then I don’t see much happening for us this season.

If we play like against huddersfield, get the ball down and play a bit of football we should win.

If we revert to type and try our normal away day performance I see nothing but a 2-0 loss.

Quite a fan of the peachy-orange away kit!

Real end to end football with Blackburn missing some sitters, but Cardiff defending well

Goal saving challenge by Morrison then. Thought that was going to be a certain goal for Rovers.

Ground sounds quieter than Craven Cottage!

Very even first half with City showing glimpses of a threat especially through Tomlin. Blackburn are generally very average and points are here for the taking if City can step it up and show some quality.

No doubt haters gonna slag off Whyte. But he’s been our best player so far. Really impressed with him.
