It might well be the best performance of the season so far but lets be honest, we havn't exactly set the bar very high have we??? what might have been different is in the first half of our two home games so far, we should have been at least 3-0 up at half time therefore out of sight, confidence would have been sky high and we might have played some free flowing football. We have left numerous chances out there and the opposition are still in the game as was the situation last night. I thought Tomlin had a great game, he stood out because he showed vision with the ball at his feet putting Murphy, Whyte and Glatzel through the defensive line many times especially in the first half. For me Tomlin should play alongside Pack in midfield (when Pack is fit) one ball winner and one playmaker it could be half decent, as for Glatzel i can't make my mind up on him yet, his work rate and movement are very good, he gets himself in some great positions but at the moment his finishing is poor, last night he easily could have scored a hatrick and maybe he is trying too hard and he just needs a goal to get him going, i hope this is the case. There are still concerns in other parts of the pitch ( remember huddersfield missed a golden chance in injury time) but a win is a win now lets hope we move on in a positive way from here.
