I was honest and brutal last week, here's what I think now.

I basically feel the same, that we need a run of games, just to take the pressure off. Today was a great performance, but in regards to winning the game it was hardly convincing yet again. I honestly believe that if everyone who started today is fit for Saturday, that they should start against Blackburn, no ifs or buts. The problem with our performances is a little bit of lack of effort, but mostly it's down to all the changes Warnocks been making either because of injuries or not. Murphy has to start Saturday, so does Whyte. Tomlin is the only player I think Warnock "could" change simply because of fitness and the sort of player Tomlin is (including the fact he hasn't played much and may need more recovery time than some others). Other than that though I don't want him starting Hoilett again just because he contributed to another goal. Keep him as a super sub since that seems to be working. I was very very impressed and relieved that Bacuna played that defensive midfielder role incredibly well today. It's such an important role that Bacuna doesn't typically play, but since there's no other options he's really done himself justice after the previous below par performances.

Make no mistake about it, if we had lost this game today I'm fairly sure Warnock wouldn't be here for long. And the problem is if we our 3rd consecutive away game this Saturday, we're back to where we were before today. I really love Warnock and genuinely want him to do well for us this season, but the fact of the matter is that today was a must win, and if we carry on this current form, there's going to be A LOT of must win games this season (And not must win for promotion, but simply must win for Warnock to remain our manager).


Today is evidence that the people demanding that we change manager last week were definitely slightly premature, because there's still time to overturn these 2 losses and kick on now. But the season is still early and it won't be for long. We can't keep saying "there's still time" if these sort of Jekyll & hide performances continue. Neils post match interview paints a very damning picture, saying he replicated a fellow managers team talk that he made when he was 1 game away from resigning. That says alot, and I hope to god that the players have reacted to that team talk and can continue to play for their manager now.

But Saturday is just another game at this point. Let's just enjoy today. Having said that, Please please please Cardiff, Warnock, players, don't give us that sinking feeling again on Saturday, please please kick on now.

But we lost 10 the year we were promoted, there is plenty of time,and being the championship, many ,many strange results,and a miriad of twists and turns,in our promotion year,fulham were nowhere near us after 12/15 games,then went on a brilliant run,to just miss out on an auto place the club need us to give them as much support as we as fans can muster I remember the days when we would out sing the opposition fans after they had just scored I think this year we need to show our support more than ever.C'MON CITY

It's the Championship. We will lose plenty more yet, as will nearly every other team. May as well get used to it.

I dont think its the early season jitters...what worries me is the lack of pace at the back and the middle...we are going to come up with sides a lot better than wigan..Luton and Huddersfield...with Pack out for possibly two months...Warnock should be looking at whats available in free agents...Ralls Bacuna and Vaulks dont fill me with confidence and i think the midfield we have is not good enough to protect our slow and cumbersome defence....its either that or try and hang in there til jan and try and get a couple of decent midfielders...
Admittingly there was good energy last night but not great quality

I do feel if we continue to ship goals and lose games Warnock could be gone by xmas by his own choice
