When are our fans going to give him the credit he deserves?
He was excellent today - him and Aden Flint have easily been our best two players this season.
He's an easy scapegoat for the fanbase, and never seems to get the praise that his performance warrants.

Ralls was very good tonight!
Not sure if I’d say a centre back who has conceded 8 goals in 4 games has been one of the best players mind

It's always been the same with Ralls for some reason, as soon as something goes wrong it's him they single out.
I think he's been great for us.

Played well tonight

Can see what you're saying but he wins far more aerial duels than either Morrison and Bamba do.
Can't fault him for most of the goals we've conceded either.
Ralls has been excellent.

I have been one of his detractors in the past however our only decent player at Reading and excellent again tonight

He’s been brilliant for us for years.
Most underrated player in the club.
Everywhere, normally playing in an inferior midfield and carrying out lots of different rolls. Would have loved to have seen him with Kav or Scimeca alongside him.

Massively underrated imo. Wins every second ball and 50/50 and he always makes the right pass. Big fan of his and has been one of our best players this season.

People seem to take him for granted because he has been here so long. He is a really good player at this level and unlike most of our players very clam when finishing in and around the box. If he stays with us he will also end up being one of our highest ever appearance makers.

100% agree about ralls comments I've liked him since he was young think he's only had a handful of poor performances for his

Ralls is a constant 7 out of 10 player most every game for us.
He’s a good player, reliable and works hard for the team always.
I think because he not often creative and we’ve been crying out for that type of player - is the reason he gets a lot of stick.
Was very good last night and an 8 out of 10 only bettered by Tomlin who was my MOM.
Flint has been good for us - dominant in the air but got turned easily on at least two occasions last night which almost resulted in goals.

Happy to say I have never criticised him. Like every player, he has his weaker points, but he is a good player and quite consistent. Easily good enough at our current level.

I would also put Peltier in the same bracket, many groan when he is selected but we look more solid with him

Sorry but he’s ok, he played well last night but, sometimes needs to pick his head up and look but plays the ball back from where it came. Took his goal well though but isn’t a creative force, isn’t a midfield general and is widely loved on here for reasons I don’t see.
Ralls is better when he has decent players around him or we play a poor side - as per last night. He is also better in a central 3. If ralls was as good or even half as good as most people make out he’d still being playing on the premiership. Or a top championship team. He isn’t it’s as simple as that.
That said was a close run for man if the match last night. He did play well credit where it is due as I said above.

he's a solid championship player, nothing special, he played well last night, however his biggest problem is, he isnt creative enough for a number 10, so he plays in the centre, but the way we play, we need a solid box to box man, and a ball winning general, he isnt either. he'd probably flourish at a more possesion based club though.

The above is absolutely sport on, can't argue with any of that.

I agree. He's not creative enough to be there as a playmaker and not strong enough to be the defensive holding player.
You get 100% from him but he does play safe and is sometimes overrun due to a lack of pace.
But again, he has been up there as one of our top performers in the last 2 games so if that continues I'll be more than happy to be proved wrong.

Ok for most teams. But very good in our team

If Rallsy keeps scoring goals that'll really help his cause in convincing his doubters.
Keep working hard Joe.

Ralls is a good player
The problem with him is that he plays a position that never gets any credit.
The smallest mistake looks huge because it leaves the defence exposed and if he doesn't get forward enough he looks lazy when really he is doing a very important job
