Do you rate Glatzel

3 games in , no goals and doesn't look like scoring really. He has missed a few sitters and should have scored 2 today.

You can see he is decent and he works hard but is he really any better than the rest ?

We looked a lot more dangerous when Bogle came on tonight

Would you stick with him or swap him out for Bogle/Vassell ?

Glatzel is playing well just needs to bag that first goal and then he will settle IMO.

I like Glatzel, he works very hard has been unlucky as that one sitter tonight he’s full stretch for it. But he can make chances. He’s better than what we have with Bogle coming on. I’d like to have seen Bogle for Tomlin and see Glatzel and Bogle together for last 10.

If we could sneak a midfield out of contract like holtby, in with pack or ralls it would make a huge difference. We are just lacking a bit of quality.

Yes he needs a goal but he’s a proper centre forward.

Movement, touch, flick ons, holding the ball up, he looks a very good player to me. Could have/should have scored two tonight but give him time because up until this game he’s not really had a chance with zero service.

I like him, good all around play just missing a goal. Hopefully tonight was an off night for his finishing because if he has any more games like that with his finishing he needs to be dropped unfortunately, whoever is up there must put the ball in the net when the chances come

He works hard and battles in the air he just needs a goal and he’ll be ok

When he’s allowed to play football, i.e. when it’s given to him on the floor, he’s shown many positives and looks a threat.

Sadly, we keep knocking it in the air to him, and he’s struggling to make any impact when we’re playing that way. Sadly, we’ve played like that for 2 out of our 3 last managers, and it won’t change under the current boss, let’s be honest.

Really like the look of him, works very hard, good in the air. Needs a goal but I've always said no striker is going to get a load of goals the way we set up.

So far from what I've seen one of the better signings.

Had plenty of decent opportunities and playing well.

Think Gratzel has something. He’s showed some nice glimpses of what he can do tonight. He’s got decent feet and made a few nice turns in and around the box. Needs a goal.

If he’s going to be successful he’s going to need better service. There have been times under Warnock where our strikers have been so isolated it wouldn’t matter who we had up front. Hopefully Tomlin and our wingers can supply him.

Does need a goal off his shin to get going. However, really thought that any striker worth his salt would have buried that absolute peach of a cross by Tomlin in the first half.

Definitely finding his feet but it cant help that in 3 games he's had Tomlin, Paterson, Vassell, Vokes and Pack playing at some stage in the number 10 role.
Give him a chance with a bit of consistency and I'm sure he will shine.

Looks good, once he gets one will be on a roll , hes neat and tidy around the box , should of scored with the header and the keeper pulled off a great save in the 2nd half

His work rate was good tonight he put a lot of pressure on their defence. Just needs that first goal I think and more will follow. He should have had two tonight so he’s getting in the right positions.

I rate him highly. He's definetely let himself down today, but not in his work rate or effort, but just the quality was lacking. But I've seen enough to know the quality is there, he just needs that goal to get going. It's not like the Zohore issue of him playing well and not scoring, I genuinely think this is the typical new striker needs a goal situation. Finishing aside his performances have been top drawer, other than today, ofcourse.

4 games in ....new country ...new league ..new club ..new teammates ...ffs....Cloughie reckoned it took 6 months fir a striker to settle properly at a club ....I reckon he’s going the right way and will be a better signing than the other strikers we have signed in the last few seasons

Bogle was the inform striker in pre season,new strikers came in and took his place without earning it.tonight those new strikers weren’t on the pitch in the last quarter of the game as we desperately searched for a winner.
Glatzelwill come good but we need to play to his strengths when he earns his place.

I personally like him. Think he's very good with his feet, quick, and his hold up play and decision making is good. Like others have said he just needs a goal and a bit more support which will hopefully come with having Tomlin at 10.
