Surely there must be more to come from him looks poor so far

Done nothing should chuck Hoilett on.

He looks poor to me, he needs more time in the development squad.
I think after this showing he will disappear for a whilst

Didn’t stop running but showed why he was playing League One last season, needs to develop more

Worked hard but lacking, needs time maybe some confidence. Easy to see the potential but thought Hoilett should have come on earlier.

Sorry but bang average at best so far!

A very good game, despite what some are playing. Ran himself into the ground, which created some of his errors later in the game, but he was getting stuck in throughout and showed he will be a good player for us if he is given time.

If that's a very good game from him then I am more worried. He was very poor...just cos he is young and tries doesnt excuse him from not beating a man or putting a cross in...hope he improves but not 2m player by anyones book

He’ll be our player of the year this season..
You knows it clarts...

Strange post. Me and my dad thought he was almost Man of the match if it wasn't for Tomlin. Great performance from Whyte. What do you guys look for, just goal scorers? Watch him ffs.

I did watch him and cannot fault his work rate but lack of quality all game...how u think he was close to man of March baffles me...he wont get stuck off me as he works his socks off...needs more time but junior is much better than him for sure

I thought he had a very good game, moving up 2 divisions is going to take time, he will only get better

If running around for 90mins without needing any real quality makes you a footballer now then I'm in the wrong job. I could do what Whyte did last night.
His effort and work rate were brilliant but he sadly lacked any real quality or ability to beat his man. Did he even get a cross in to the box ?

Some people think it’s FIFA 98..
You wouldn’t last 5 mins..

He may come good but honestly I’m struggling to understand why we replaced Kadeem with him
Warnock says he let Kadeem go because He needs to be playing... but if he was still here he presumably would be if whyte is.
As mentioned Whyte could do with some u23 games to develop his game

Could have come down to lowering the wage bill and wanting someone a bit younger as well. Harris was probably going to be 4th choice so makes sense to get a younger winger in for the future and on a longer contract.

I thought he would of been subbed earlier, like most said he did everything you could ask from him. Except a good pass or cross which is role really.
But he rarely gave up and kept going so cant fault that. Imagine we could combine Whytes effort with Murphys skill...

I think he was subbed because his mum called him in as it was nearly his bedtime.
Don't know how he'll manage with the midweek games when school starts again and he's got homework to do.
