Unfortunately it’s never going to happen. Personally I would rather bring in 1 quality player than 3 average players. It’s always seems the case that the club try to cut corners with their transfer dealings. We spent 26m last summer going up into the Premier League, the other extreme is Villa spending 144.5m this summer.

Fulham this summer have brought in quality & most of those have been loan signings. Clearly they will pay the going wages whereas I doubt Cardiff would do the same. It is possible to find some hidden gems however I would suggest that you do need a bit of quality in your team.

The club has done well to reduce the debt but has it now got to the stage where debt clearance comes before the team? Surely needs to be a fine balancing act unless many fans will disappear.

Agree about poor recruitment.

Not about investment, warnock has spent a fortune last 2 season, by far enough to have a much stronger championship squad.
