The way I see it, our midfield is going to be exploited whoever we play there now that Pack is injured. I particularly remember last season when we played wing backs with wingers we actually overwhelmed teams when we attacked them. Since I’ve lost faith in a lot of players who essentially let us down yesterday, I don’t want to use players like Vaulks, Bacuna etc. Which puts me in a situation where I don’t really want to play a recognised central midfielder next to Ralls. So, as I post this team sheet, bare in mind we were winning games when we had Gunnarsson & Whittingham in midfield. It wasn’t pretty but it was miles better than yesterday for crying out loud. Our midfield is going to be exploited either way, so why not just go for this.

Mate I reckon Ralls would be completely overrun.
I’d go -
Smithies
Peltier. Morrison. Flint. Bennett
Nelson
Ralls. Tomlin.
NML (If fit). Glatzel. Murphy

Both suggestions get over run for me fact is we are fucked and even I didn’t realise how vital Gunnarsson was to our team
I highlighted that midfield was too lightweight on players and the type of player we have and I see a long hard season of pack doesn’t stay fit

What’s your team mate?
For what it’s worth, AG has been generally awful / unfit for the best part of 2 seasons.

f**k no. You play 3 at the back then your defence must be quick and mobile. That formation would get torn apart.
Now is not the time for knee jerk formation changes, especially in defebd5e unless were asking for another stuffing.

Fair play that’s laughable.

Not sure why anybody would put Nelson, Day or Whyte in the starting 11. They are not good enough for a team expecting to get out of this division. The fact is They are poor signings at this level.
Whyte has potential for the future but is nowhere near ready now and the other two are bog standard.

4-2-3-1
ALEX SMITHIES
LEE PELTIER
ADEN FLINT
CURTIS NELSON
JOE BENNETT
AARON BOLGER
JOE RALLS
NATHANIEL MENDEZ-LAING
LEE TOMLIN
JOSH MURPHY
ROBERT GLATZEL
need a pacey cb next to one of the slower one's and Flint has been better than Morrison in the last 3 games and after the display of Bacuna and Vaulks id rather see a 19 year old who can pass from the Republic of Ireland than them 2 atm.

Smithies
Peltier
Nelson
Morrison
Bennett
Vaulks
Ralls
Murphy
Patterson
Hoilett
Glatzel
The best I can think of, probably a midtable team.

I’d go with this as well but switch NML for Hoilett or whyte. NML might as well not have been on the pitch Sunday. Sounds like he’s injured as well. Again.
