Too early to panic

Sun Aug 18, 2019 7:57 pm

Last time we got promoted we had a terrific start, winning 5 games on the bounce, but we also had a very poor run over Christmas. There is still plenty of time to get it together, and maybe we’ll do the opposite and have a poor start but go on a good run further down the line.

I also think we have a better squad this time round, it’s just going to take a little longer to click. Also there is an argument that the league is weaker this time, with no Villa, Wolves, Sheff Utd.

We still have Bamba to return and Glatzel will almost certainly be a big player for us once he settles and starts to understand exactly what Warnock and Blackwell want from him.

Not sure how you can think that the league is weaker this season.

We've just been thoroughly outplayed by two teams who struggled badly last season and a team who a few seasons ago were in non league!

What's going to happen when we play other "weak" teams like Leeds, West Brom and god help us, Swansea?
