He said pre match that Ralls was 50/50 and Tomlin wasn’t in contention as he’d only trained Friday and been on loo all week. See what you’re saying the plating LT but imho he must be in his thoughts as he mentioned that he wasn’t available today...if you know what I mean.

To be honest I never really believe what Warnock says in his interviews. Usually about someone being ill, or someone hasn't trained well or someone has trained really well....its just a way of him trying to justify his decisions incase they backfire.

You may have a point and I do tend to think the players are wiser than to contradict the Gaffer!

Can see Nelson being used in that holding midfield position in front of the back four.maybe a 4 1 4 1 formation.

In all fairness I have had this gastrointestinal bug,and it has been 9 days on and off (pardon the pun )even have cramps as I type,so it is plausible that tomlin has had it too,not defending/ doubting it,but I suppose we will know come Wednesday hope he plays personally, we know he has the skill set we are missing,and put bolger in there too I say,supposed to have a bit of bite about him,according to some,and give Glatzel some kind of sevice he can use

Tbf he was the only one who actually looked like he had some idea of what was needed and he had zero help from the other 2 that’s for sure.

I’d give Tomlin 3 games to prove he can do it, but we all know that won’t happen just like Murphy doesn’t play away from home and gets subbed around the 60th min mark when we are winning at home. As for Ralls imo he plays better in an advanced role than as a defensive midfielder.
