Midfield looks abysmal

First half so far we look terrible the midfield no penetration and clueless

Looked ok until pack went off wingers lang and holliet look worse than midfield

Just no shape, I feel sorry for the striker.

Bacuna honestly why does he ever play when he is shit. Smithies handling has been awful and NML looks as if he can’t be bothered.

ralls and Paterson are both dire, I agree bacuna is worse. Glatzel has to work on his own to make something for himself, the only decent player we have right now. ralls hasn’t a clue and Paterson is just absurdly crap. Smithies dropped one, not at fault today, back 4, midfield and wingers dire, Warnock tactically dire. According to you we are the envy of the championship with this squad. Have a watch back, ralls cannot pick his head up, is defensively poor and not great in possession. Paterson can throw a ball fair play.

We have a team of defensive midfielders. Other than Ralls who gives a slight glimmer of creativity there is nothing else. Warnock has put all his faith in the wingers providing the ammunition to Glatzel. Today that was also non existent.

...or even who can put the ball out wide in front of the wingers so that they can actually be effective. The midfield is an absolute shambles -it can’t create, defend or even retain the ball. How the hell this been allowed to happen is beyond me, especially as there are players on our books who could offer that alternative.

As soon as Reading matched our physicality, it was game over as they had all of the quality and we have no plan b. Absolutely nothing was done in the summer to sort it via the recruitment, which looks worse with every game.

Taken apart by Reading, Wigan and a last minute winner against Luton - something has to change significantly and quickly.

Ralls cannot pass, cannot tackle, doesn't have a footballing brain and is one paced - anyone else notice that when he has to try and make up ground he actually puts his head down when running ffs! Paterson is such a Warnock kind of player - bereft of skill, cannot pass but is a real character!
How does Bennett get away from criticism? He was shocking again today, gave them acres of space down that left. We were lucky it wasn't 6-0, we couldn't have complained if it was. Absolutely shocking performance!!
