Online betting question.

Sat Aug 17, 2019 7:52 pm

I done a bet today with Sky Bet.
Only a treble on the football.
I needed man city to beat spurs to have £131 back.
So Man City score in the last moments of the game . I cashed it out and withdrew the funds . The “winnings” are on their way to my bank account , happy days until VAR disallows the goal .
Does anyone know what happens to the cash I have withdrawn .
Normally the bet is suspended but at the time before the goal is disallowed I still had an opportunity to cash my winning bet .

Should be fine as you cashes out

They may say the offer was only because the goal went in but they should suspend in those circumstances

If the money is withdrawn to your bank account, then the money is yours.

In the past I have had similar bets, and have withdrawn the money with no issue.

Paddy Power are the only bookies who followed this up by leaving me with a minus balance.

Totally strange .

But there was few minutes between goal and VAR

I think you'll be ok

Not completely same subject, but I found a way to increase odds today on first goalscorer.
If you place a bet with paddypower on 1st goalscorer don't do it as a single, do it as a scorecast and cash out as soon as he scores.
I did sterling today he was 4_1 on scorecast I put him 1st and correct score 3_1. As soon as he scored my 5 quid cashed out at 42 quid, doubled odds

If they offer you a cash out and you take it then you have no issue.

The offer was correct at the time of the cash out

Agree with the above - its the same eg. if you cash a bet out with 20-30 mins to go and the game gets abandoned .
Weather your team was in front or not - the chance / choice was there for you to take .

I work for them. The company that provides the live score service accidentally gave it as a goal rather than a possible goal, hence why selections were re-opened and you were able to cash out. They may look at affected bets tomorrow, but I'd say it's likely you'll be fine
