On criticism from Blakey
NEIL WARNOCK:
“I always take what Nathan (Blake) says with a pinch of salt. I don’t know how long Nathan managed for. But when you’re in management it’s totally different.
“I’ve put the club back four years by staying, Nathan said. I will look on and read Nathan’s comments when I’ve left.
“Sometimes it’s better the devil you know. It sells newspapers.
“There are some good bits and Nathan talks sense sometimes. But you’ve got to be a manager to understand. I do read Nathan.
“I was disappointed at the end of last season that the local paper printed saying for me to be gone after I announced I was staying. I think the area is covered well.”

Warnock’s more tolerant than me.
Blake is good on technical stuff, but on managing and tactics he’s clueless . I doubt he’s managed anywhere.
I don’t bother reading him these days.
I’d swear half of it is written by someone else anyway.

Who do I think is most knowledgeable on football management let me think

Blakey should talk to Gary Neville about managing and then might realise what Warnock says is true.....you have to do the job etc etc

The point Blake maybe making, is that if NW is going, it probably would have been better to get a new Manager in for this season, for a number of reasons.

Blakey is just irritating these days,talks drivel and makes no sense.
It’s not as if he spent his best days with Cardiff,why don’t he go and write a column on Wolves or Sheff utd,it’s annoying when they wheel him out for Kneewport Cwnty cup games also,must have spent all of 3 weeks playing for them,they have less affiliation with him than us,time to pack it in he’s had his day

And rob him of a chance to get ninth promotion? Hes deserved the chance to do it for what hes done for club and fans! The positive thing about knowing he will go at end season gives time for club to get next appointment right , but downside get it wrong and could put us back years , what must not happen is him Changing his mind...

The total opposite in my opinion.A new manager usually means rip up everything and start again,better to do that in the Prem.And who better to get us there?As for Blakey,he should know any managerial job is about people not just an opinion on tactics.
