NOT SURE WHAT I THINK NOW !!

So here we go. We now know the make up of our squad for the season, I think one thing is obvious we have not made the same mistakes as the last time we tumbled out of the Premier. We sprayed money around as if it was going out fashion that has certainly not been the case this time.
So the Exits first : Zahore 1 goal last season £8M received excellent business
Manga - unfortunately will be missed but wanted to go back to France
Harris - needed to go as he never really got anything moving in the 6 years he was here
Reid -Ouch ! this was a strange one especially to a promotion rival (however hasn't played a lot)
Cunningham - not surprised at him going he hasnt had much game time with us
3 Others - all very expected at the end of last season.

INCOMMINGS: Day - I think he was brought in on anticipation that either Etheridge or Smithies would be going (Etheridge's injury has upset that one)
Vaulks - a very good addition for mid-field (very good Business)
Nelson - seams like a good addition to the squad especially with Bamba out injured
Whyte - have heard very good reports on him, sounds like a decent signing
Flint - replacement for Manga (sounds like a good signing but will need to prove himself)
Glatzal - our hopes are pined on him up top, I hope he can deliver
Vassel - I do not know what to make of this one, I will need to be convinced
Pack - a little underwhelming when we were supposed to be looking for a mid-field general

Tomlin - well this could be our un-expected ace in the hole- is he going to do that mid-field general role?

So are we any better off or indeed worse off ????

Much will depend on whether there are enough goals in the side and if Tomlin is used. The defence looks solid even if there is a little lack of pace in there, hopefully the defensive midfield can help negate that.

Prediction - I think we will make the top 6 JUST

Having viewed the Nice match where frankly he was the best player on the park, he possesses all the tools needed to deliver, I think the fact that he has not left in the window and in all fairness we have not brought in a mid-field general, Reid has gone all means that he suddenly finds himself in the box-seat if he has his head then the world is our lobster !

I don't disagree.

Warnock still didn't put him in the squad after his Nice performance, I don't think that will change.

Pretty close but I think you’ll find Pack will be in every week so it will be Pack and either Vaulks or Ralls. I’m guessing Vaulks at home (he’s more dangerous in the opposition half) and Ralls away.

Pack is the defensive midfielder we’ve needed to replace Gunnarson.
