OFFICIAL " BOBBY DECORDOVA-REID LEAVES CARDIFF CITY "

Cardiff City FC can confirm that Bobby Decordova-Reid has joined Fulham on loan, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old has signed an agreement with the Whites for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.

We'd like to thank Bobby for his contribution while at Cardiff City Stadium.

This just doesn’t make sense sending him on loan to a championship club. The only good thing he won’t be playing against us.

Should have built the team around him. He obviously has quality at this level.

Hope we are charging Fulham a crazy loan fee and paying all his wages. That is the only positive I can think of.

Unless our gamble signings all turn good, we look weaker on paper than when we went up.

Well, that will surely depend on results during the season rather than the pedantics of whether the club/manager have splashed out on 'names' just to appease the few who don't understand the club's position

There will be disappointment for the club, manager and supporters that some of their targets haven't materialised but we are where we are and we move on...mainly (but clearly not all) together!

Warnock said in his Wigan post match interview that a few questions had been answered. I think Reid was one of them. He has not looked a threat pre-season and was completely anonymous at Wigan. My guess is the player has engineered all this too and if he was going to be a bad apple then best to get him out of the club. I am disappointed but not heartbroken at all. He still has a lot to prove that he is consistently a 20 goal a season player. Time to move on and focus on the quality we do have and we do have a decent team and a shout at the play offs this season in my view.

Not at all bothered about the player. Done nothing in Cardiff shirt. However, was hoping for some money though .

Might as well have gone the whole hog and given them etheridget on loan as well. What a joke. Give a supposed rival for promotion a good player on loan who will thrive in their system and at the same time help them out with the FFP rules whilst do nothing to help our compliance. No wonder we are so much debt.

He has been really average for us. I really wanted him to do well, but if his heart wasn't in it then he might as well go. We have to trust that Warnock knows what he is doing.

Is this a loan with an obligatory 10m fee at the end of the season (so basically he's gone for good even if it is a loan) or is it just a loan and we get him back at the end of the season when a new manager comes in and will probably use him?

No doubt about it, more money wasted.

Warnock needs to make this work now, over to him but it feels like a lot money wasted and sent out on loan and this squad looks a good distance off a promotion squad to me.

Exactly he was weedy and crap for us, every time we played him people would get excited and he always let Warnock down, he didn't suit us and wanted to leave so he can feck off.

Feel sorry for him - never got a run of games to get any momentum and our style was never suited to him. Will be a great player at this level for a team who plays on the deck. Hope we don’t live to regret this one.

I don't agree our style doesn't suit him. OK a passing team maybe better but for me he often causes a problem in the number 10 role but was never given a chance.
