Houdini

Better not decide now as if we get him in NW will only decide he doesnt fancy him after all and ship him off somewhere. Most probably on loan.

If Fergie couldn't pick the right successor, then no manager can. So with any luck, Warnock won't be involved in picking someone. I think it needs to be a fresh, young appointment with someone who wants to play a more attractive style of football by making the most of the likes of Murphy, Tomlin & Reid (if he comes back). Personally, i'd go for someone like Danny Cowley or Gareth Ainsworth. Even Mark Hudson could be a shout in the future, if he continues progressing.

It's all a cunning plan, sign all the best carrot crunches players then bring Lee Johnson in next june

Would be nice,to have someone like Sol ,knowing the club as well as he must do by now

He should have no say or input imo, when he goes we should have a new man/woman with new ideas not so some in his mould.

To be honest I think we need to look in another dorexgion
The new manager is going to have a lot of work to do and deadwood to get rid of.

Yep, doing his badges and would carry players, fans and board with him.

It could be set up for Bamba but I think it’s a bit early for next season - or even Christmas!

Firstly it won't be a woman and that can be put to bed for f...... sake.
Chris Houghton
Tony Pulis
Phil Neville for all our female supporters.

I'd probably look at Kevin Blackwell stepping up. He's had some success as a manager in the past.
Fri Aug 09, 2019 3:18 pm
Blackwell, with sol stepping into the coaching role
Fri Aug 09, 2019 3:26 pm
Blackwell, Jepson supporting Bamba.
With Warnock as unoficial advisor from his farm in Cornwall.
Less upheaval and a straight transition, why give Sol a two year contract(taking him to nearly 37)otherwise.
Fri Aug 09, 2019 3:32 pm
I think when Warnock goes we need an overhaul with Jepson and Blackwell going as well.
Hopefully Warnock can get us promoted which would make it easier.

If we go up, Sam Alerdyce
If we stay where we are, Steve McLaren/David Moyes/Tony Pulis
You never know with these things and especially with managers facing the sack potentially. So yeah we could have a manager like Potter or a Steve Bruce if of course things go bad for him at Newcastle. Or Dean Smith
Fri Aug 09, 2019 7:28 pm
Probably reason why not spent alot as new manager will want his own players in more cost effective than spending big and trying to move them out next season.

Would like to see that eventually. Sol Bamba is a class act
But we've been there with 'shoe-in' Bellamy in recent times, so not building my hopes up...yet

If it was a woman, Suzanna Reid would brighten up the dressing room. She's also got previous experience in football management..
