From contenders to also rans

That's how it feels after the last few weeks.

Our squad and more importantly first 11 is way too weak to mount a serious attempt at the top 2

All we needed 3 weeks ago was a solid midfielder and a goalscorer

We got neither and lost our best players in key positions

I'm doubting now if this current squad can even make the top 6 after seeing the signings of our rivals

Very disappointed in the club this summer they have let the fans down in my opinion

Completely agree. I'm vastly underwhelmed and think a top ten finish will be a good season with this squad. Be nice if Tomlin was able to add a bit of spark to an otherwise dull, defensive midfield.

We've replaced good players with players with something to prove? So we have not improved our team which is a bug risk in such a competitive league! Looking at other teams recruiting we've certainly gone down the list as possible promotion candidates..

I would say we have replaced very good experianced championship players with gambles from lower leagues personally

I would say we have replaced very good experianced championship players with gambles from lower leagues personally

Like I said replace players with others that got something to prove? Can be good or go tits up hence my reduction in our chances for promotion
