Bobby Reid’s poster outside stadium has been taken down.
Bristol City have ended their interest in bringing Bobby Reid back to the club, with Fulham now favourites for the forward's signature.
Reid is wants to leave.

It's very close now from the looks of things unfortunately, not happy about this at all, thought he was going to be a massive player for us this season.
I still have faith in Warnock though, hes got us out of this league before with close to what we got now, he can do it again

This is a joke. What the club thinking behind this? The player has something to offer us like Tomlin
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:45 pm
Do the club realise that there's only 3 promotion spots this season.
WBA & Leeds look so strong this year and we want to help Fulham get stronger.
Couldn't make it up!!
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:45 pm
Absolute joke , this window has been a disaster
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:45 pm
How much have Warnock wasted on players that can't cut it?
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:47 pm
Bye bye Bobby. Honestly thought he was gonna hang em in for us this year. However, I'd rather not have unhappy players around the squad.
This has to be Tomlin's chance to step up?! Cos it doesn't look like we'll be getting anyone decent in to replace Reid.

f*cking joke.
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:51 pm
So far we have
Lost:
Manga
Zohore
Gunnarsson
Reid (supposedly)
Damour
Cunningham
Gained:
Flint
Whyte
Vassell
Day
Vaulks
Nelson
Glatzel
Cannot say it’s been a great window at all
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:51 pm
The club really need to make a statement post 5pm on the shambles this transfer window has been.
Time for a director of football to identify and to work the negotiations to a successful conclusion.
Certainly it is not working with the current set up.
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:52 pm
Just read that Spurs have agreed a fee with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon. Is Reid going to be his replacement?
Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:57 pm
Absolutely ridiculous if he goes
This won't go down well unless we have a new serious striker in place
Also need £10m back
Thu Aug 08, 2019 3:00 pm
The player with arguably the most quality in our squad signing for a championship rival.
Oh well. What a great window it's been.

Especially when you think Flint is a copy of Morrison so his signing hasn't replaced Manga in anyway!!
Thu Aug 08, 2019 3:04 pm
If he wants to go thats different but surely we new this was the case.
What a difference to this time last year when we came up with wolves , how they have moved on and we have done the oppisite.

Club statement be the usual" we tried but just couldn't get them over the line"
I hope to God they don't offer the DoF to Warnock.

I dont blame reid wanting to leave he wants to play modern day football and play in the position we seen the best of him in

I don’t either.
At Bristol he mainly played up top with another striker. His movement was great. He dropped off, made space for others and scored loads himself.
Here there’s little but scraps under Warnock’s style.
Why sign him would be my question?
Thu Aug 08, 2019 3:28 pm
We all know Reid is a very good championship player, but he just doesn’t suit our style of play so won’t be a huge loss to us
However, I think he will become a vital part of the Fulham set up and will suit their style of play
The problem we have is that we look like we won’t replace him

Walked past during lunch time ,not sure which big player poster has been removed from the front but one has definately gone ,Bobby Reid is still up on the sloper rd side.

I deliver in that area and pass all sides of the ground regularly. As you say, his poster is a new one on the Sloper Road side, and they are obviously all being replaced over the last few days.

Manga - Big loss but wanted to go
Zohore - No loss great deal for a reserve
Gunnarsson - Big loss but wanted to go
Reid (supposedly) - no great loss good money for a reserve
Damour - No loss tenth choice
Cunningham - could be a loss, a good sub but wanted to go
Flint - Jury's out good history but a lot to prove - hopefully good though
Whyte - good signing
Vassell - depends on injury if fully fit good signing
Day - Dodgy keeper
Vaulks - good signing
Nelson - decent signing
Glatzel - looks great on youtube fingers crossed
Not great but lets not through the towel in just yet, lets see what some of these new boys can do

We have a style of play?
Good luck to Reid.. better elsewhere, only wasted here..
Thu Aug 08, 2019 4:26 pm
Don't see how anyone can rate Vasell as a good signing just yet. He has been poor for Birmingham as evidenced by the fact he has scored 1 goal in 23 games and most of the time doesn't even start but comes on as a late sub. If he isn't good enough to start a game for Birmingham how come he is good enough for us.
Bobby Reid should be a great loss to us but isn't really due to the fact that Warnock won't play him as a striker. Fulham will and it would not surprise me if he gets 20 plus goals for them this season. I think Warnock has just lost the plot completely.

Losing your best player is never easy to take but if he don't wanna be here then let him go, no player is bigger than the club.
Fans got short memories and don't realise the majority of the players we got now got us promoted and came within 3 points of safety last season in the hardest league in the world.
Keep the faith and get behind the boys and the manager I say, this group responds well when the chips are down!

GONE
Paul Abbandonato
Bobby Reid has gone. Told it's a £10m-plus deal to Fulham. Bad news for @CardiffCityFC in my view, but told he wanted to go as didn't suit Warnock's style of play? Marlon Pack, from @BristolCity , coming in apparently...

Our best player ? Really based on performances for us ?
Manga possibly but what about Etheridge, Bennett, Mendez-Laing, Hoilett at this level, Murphy at this level and the back four that got us up last time ?
I didn’t want Reid to go but he simply isn’t our best player on his performances for us.

he has the potential to be our best. unfortunately under warnocks tactics, that potential will never be reached. lets watch him bag 20+ goals for fulham.

What you think Fulham would play him up top instead of Mitrovic

It makes no sense to sell one of our best player to a rival!
