Last season we were advised that the club had learned from the poor transfer windows. They should have recruited a Director for recruitment and left The chairman, and the manager to concentrate on their specific roles.

Wasn't that long back this club could not even afford to buy a pot to piss in, never mind new players. Just shows how far we have come since then, but you still get fans moaning every transfer window. I guess they have only ever known the good times, and are not interested in long term planning for long term success. No vision beyond the end of this transfer window, and need to remember we are not Barcelona.

I remember the dark days well. But we are doing ourselves no favours. Large sums of money going on players who don't play and six months after signing them NW doesn't like.
Long term planning does not involve everyone knowing youre manager is retiring at the end of the season. It doesn't work.
Love NW to bits and he's saved our club but long term planning we are not.
