Its not what he did when we got promoted and Bristol never, its what he did here and it wasn't much. I have always wanted footballers over triers but i am a realist, he doesn't fit. He is not a championship version of Ramsey or Camarasa he is a converted striker from a winger, we need an 8. Its always about the team over an individual.

The only other alternative is to go back to the dark ages and play 442, but all of our wingers are wide forwards not old fashioned left or right midfielders, none of them can cross, they are very quick or have a trick or two but drive for goal generally playing on the wrong side.

In all of this i just hope we end up with a genuine CM or DM otherwise this hasn't been a great window.

Agree reids been shit for us and everyone is going off before we signed him

He's barely had a run!

He had the best goal to minute ratio in our sqaud in the prem.

Hoof ball doesn't suit quality footballers.

Paterson started every game and played 90+ minutes until inured. Reid had scraps in a system not suited to his strengths.

Reid's been shit for us? Anytime he's looked like going on a run of form, Warnock's dropped him for no reason! He's had less game time than Paterson has, yet he's still outscored him. There's more to football than hoof ball and putting yourself about, as we showed at United away.

He may have outscored paterson,but you seem to forget paterson was a converted full back,so Reid had the one up,only because he played in a more natural position to him,not saying I'm happy he has gone,but it just hasn't been working for him,in warnocks style of play,at least he cannot play against us twice
