If we sell Reid and replace him with Vassell that is pure idiocy by the club. I’m still hopeful that somehow we sign two CM’s and a RB tomorrow but it’s looking more likely that we are gunna lose players.

Not sure if you were at Wigan or not Phil but Reid looked absolutely lost and useless. For whatever reason he don't fit in so move on. :bluebird:

One game does not make or break a players season.

Oh yes it does, according to a few posters on here :banghead: if he goes to a rival,1 I hope we don't lose money (highly likely ) and 2,watch him fly,in the right system,he has proved that at Bristol. Makes the mind boggle in as to why neil bought him in the 1st place?maybe Warnock is being told he has a small budget, cos if I were tan,I'd be asking as to why we (he)had bought him? A big buy to ditch, after one season,to call him useless is farcical  :old: :bluebird:

I agree 1 game doesn't make or break....but I think Warnock may have decided he just doesn't fit, not a slight on Reid, or Warnock for that matter......if it's not working, pastures new.

Maybe selling Reid will help to fund 2 CM's and a RB?

If they were quality I’d be happy with that.

Nketiah was booked in for a medical at Bristol last night but didn’t show, now on his way to Leeds. That’s why the Bobby Reid rumour has started

You can see it, I can see it, in fact most City fans can see it... but WHY can't Warnock? :banghead:

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is on his way to Leeds United.

The BBC are reporting that the 20-year-old is set to join the Elland Road side on a season-long loan deal.

Cardiff City, Bristol City And Swansea City were heavily linked with the youngster, but Marcelo Bielsa appears to have won the race for one of the country's brightest talents.

Playing in the prem must have been the pull for Reid to leave Bristol C. Without that he’s being pulled back

FULHAM, BRISTOL CITY INTERESTED IN REID

Sky sources understand Bobby Reid could leave Cardiff City today with Bristol City and Fulham both interested in signing the attacking midfielder.

Reid only left Bristol City last summer for a fee of £10m.

Please not Fulham. Why would we even contemplate strengthening our rivals.

Bristol is okay?

Re: " TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY OFFICIAL TOPIC "

Thu Aug 08, 2019 10:22 am

Who is engineering this rumoured Bobby Reid move? The player or Warnock?

Or is it just minor interest while no parties are looking to move on?

It doesnt make sense to sell him to a promotion rival either. I could see him doing well returning to the Wurzels which is obvioulsy not good for us.

Bring on 5pm :old:

Re: " TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY OFFICIAL TOPIC "

According to reputable journalist Alan Nixon, Cardiff City attacker Bobby Reid could be set to re-join former club Bristol City before this afternoon’s transfer deadline.

The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Ashton Gate, establishing himself as one of the Robins’ most influential players before departing for Cardiff last summer.

The versatile attacker, able to play as a striker or as an attacking midfielder, scored 21 goals for Lee Johnson’s side in the 2017/18 campaign, making a total of just under 160 appearances for his boyhood club.

His move to arch rivals Cardiff City certainly divided opinions last summer, but after finding the net just five times in 30 games for the Bluebirds last season, the attacker could now be set to depart the Welsh club.

What I mean is Fulham are genuine promotion rivals whereas Bristol won’t be. Of course I would hate to see him go to Bristol though, in fact I would hate to see him go to anyone in the same league as us.
