Yes they can normally but prisoners having mobile phone in prison is actually a criminal offence so can be prosecuted by law? Fcking stupid considering he's serving 32yrs cps must be bonkers to prosecute him! but I'm assuming as he's said not guilty they want to prove he was like said bonkers.....
