Bournemouth’s Harry Arter joins Scott Parker’s Fulham in season-long loan transfer.

Arter has two years left at Bournemouth and it was thought he might return to Cardiff for another season long loan, but the Welsh club never really showed much interest in the Irish International this time.

Arter played for Cardiff City in the Premier League last season.

I don't think we did, it was just obvious he was going their. Parker his brother in law and Arter lives in London so no commuting back and for to Cardiff.

Surprised we didn't go back in for him! Though it seems dwight Gayle could be available for loan again, now that would be a tidy signing.

We need a defensive midfielder who is a calming influence not a 100mph whirlwind who more ygsn likely get sent off in championship! Good as he is dont think hes what we need now?

I agree but if we are playing with both Flint and Morrison we will need somebody a bit faster as well as 2 quick full backs.

How is it a f up? You can't make someone sign. Arter gets to work with his brother in law and much closer to home. Why would he sign for Cardiff?

Fair comment,but I'm a little bit concerned that this was the prem loan neil has mentioned in interview (If he doesn't get the move he wants )hope I'm wrong of course,or is it drinkwater?? Neil also mentioned once recently that we would be " pleasantly surprised "

Arter was never on City’s list and I doubt very, very much that Drinkwater was either.

Looks like he made up his mind last season, wasn’t available for our last few matches,
