Confidence is what we need

We have a team that is use to losing at present. Out of the last 42 league games we have played only 10 wins Yes 38 were in the premier league but so many teams struggle in first few months of being relegated and I believe for our team it is confidence and not going to be underestimating the opposition The earlier we can get our first couple of wins the better.

I think a lot of our fans will underestimate the opposition and possibly over estimate city. I did not see us as a top two team but somewhere between 4th to 8th with the present squad before yesterday’s games . Saying that I did not expect us to lose yesterday either

One of those wins was at Old Trafford Vs Man United. Got to draw confidence from that or any of the other wins in the PL!

Yesterday was a bad day at the office. It happens. Did anyone think we'd go the whole season unbeaten? Did anyone think it would be easy? Did we all predict the same team the Warnock chose? We just got done! It happens, it's why we're all addicted to the sport.

No I did not think we would go unbeaten that’s why I had us anywhere between 4th and 8th which usually means around 10 defeats Having been involved in top level sport at international level both playing and team management I have seen the best player lose confidence and been awful and have seen average players gain confidence and been excellent Don’t underestimate its effect on teams or individuals

No I get it. But I can't see how we have lost our confidence before the season has even begun?! These are professional sportsmen. Bet they were buzzing to be back playing and in an 'easier' league. If anything we were probably too confident.
