Don’t need a keeper we have have Smithies with Day as cover ?

Need defensive and / or a player who can control midfield , a pacy right back and striker ..... the latter have been required for almost 2 seasons

We don't need a keeper. Smithies is proven at this level. Murphy is still around.

Don't need a keeper, Murphy might resign now depending on how long Etheridge is out.

Right back, midfielder and striker needed in my opinion

If Brian Murphy is still around I'd much prefer him to either Smithies or Day.

In fact maybe Dibble could get a game - he'd certainly fill most of the goal without even having to move.

Pelts is a steady eady full back and decent defensively but doesn’t offer anything going forward unfortunately

I think it’s time for a change to a more attacking full back

Also, if we are serious about promotion we desperately need a top quality defensive midfielder and he won’t come cheap!!

He's still in Cardiff so I'm guessing he has no club.

Got a feeling it's Arter on loan again

I don't think Warnock rates Smithies as he was hardly on the bench last season, Murphy could do a job but I still think a keeper on a 6 month loan would be a smart move.

I think most people seem to agree we need 3 players

RB - someone who has pace and has more going forward
CM - someone who has a presence in midfield and has a bit of calmness and composure on the ball and offers something different to Ralls, Vaulks and Bacuna
ST - A back up to Glatzel. Im not that concerned about this position as much as I was however with Glatzel being signed and Bogle banging goals in when played.

Would love to see 3 players signed however I get the feeling that we'll bring 1 in or at a push 2.

Apparently it's a youngster from Arsenal. But lots of clubs are interested.

Why would he sign a player he doesn’t rate?

We still have a few weeks with loans - but would be nice to see another new face next week ;)

I thought that when the widow closes on Thursday that no loans are allowed, didn't it change last season?
