We missed Manga

After watching yesterday's game and how easily Wigan managed to walk through our back 4 it was obvious to me that we missed Manga more than we thought we would. Manga had to place to cover for Morrison and could read the game better, Morrison and Flint both good physical defenders but both lacking in pace.

Reading between the lines of Niels press conference I wounder if he's preparing for a bid for Morrison and maybe letting him go.

I'd sell him, his lack of pace really showed up yesterday. We need a central defender with pace and none of our main 3 have any.

i don't think fans know how important morrison really is, he is a captain, leader and our best defender no matter what fans think.

We missed Bamba. I would love us to still have Manga too as then we wouldn’t have to be worried about buying another RB which is what we need along with 2 CM’s.

I agree. Last time Morrison had an absolute stinker was Watford at home. The game he was pushed back for too early after injury. He got slated!! However, for the rest of the season he was superb at the back.

I tend to agree. Flint looks like a ready made replacement for Morrison.

Peltier is a sqaud player at best.

Dont get me wrong a great finish from the Wigan player but he invited him to take that shot by backing off on the edge of his area. Dreadful defending.

He has no pace and I would definitely be Strengthening RB.

Nelson comes in for Morrison at CB

Vaulks comes in for Bacuna

Your forgetting he had Manga alongside him who had pace!!

You can't have another slow CB with him.

Therefore to sign flint must only be to replace Morrison or to challenge him for his starting place!!
