....BUT, we need some central midfield reinforcements. I didn’t realise how much we’d miss Gunnarson until today. Let’s prioritise a leader in the middle of the park...someone who could’ve directed the shape more today to stop us being over exposed on the right side. If we sort this sorted then I think that’s way more important then an extra striker

Bobbi Reid is an excellent player, but I am not sure how he, 2 wide forwards plus the centre forward will work, especially away. A genuine CM should be able to adequately play DM,CM & AM. There is no way Bobby can, he is a second striker . I have no doubt in a passing team all comfortable with the ball he will score +20 but its not our modus operandi.
The other option is our wide forwards play more like 442 wingers and we go 442, but there is no way Murphy can (will) do that.

So in essence for me either Reid or Murphy need to go

We also lost a mobile and deceptively quick centre half and replaced him with a bigger less mobile version of Morrison. Playing these two against speed teams won't be pretty, on the other side we are not going to get bullied.

People who never makes mistake have never lived, someone as successful as Warnock knows when to cut his losses.

I wouldn't be surprised if Madine, Tomlin and either Reid or Murphy left this week,

Agree entirely but why hasn't it been sorted already. Its been obvious since the April.
