WArnock made the big mistake today of having the wrong goalkeeper on the bench .NO real excuse really .Paid a lot of money for a goalkeeper that we have rarely played and pure puts an inexperienced keeper from Newport County on the bench.BIG mistake Mr Warnock and only you to blame nobody else
mr Warnock

Keeper wasn't at fault. Defenders need to defend. He's not accountable for shots from edge of the box.
Hes got to protect the near post.

HE should NEVER have been on the bench when you have a much better experienced keeper you paid I believe about 4 million pounds for playing for the u 23s.TERRIBLE Warnock decision

DAY is a better keeper than Smithies it’s that simple. All this talk about experience is nonsense it’s not like Day is some 18 year old kid making his first team debut. He has played over 200 football league games. Also I honestly don’t see how anyone is blaming him go rewatch the goals WTF was he supposed to do about them?
Etheridge will be back in a few weeks anyway and he is better than them both.

The mistake was not protecting the new centre half partnership with Nelson in front, I am really surprised Warnock didn't do this, I agree on the keeper too, Day was poor!

I dont get it. How can you blame the keeper for any of their goals.
First basic rule for goalkeepers is to protect the near post. You can't get beat at the near post.
Two goals where scored at the far post. One was a great strike. The other was inside the box. Both goals are at the fault of the defenders not closing down and applying enough pressure.
As the above poster said. Which I called before a ball was kicked. Morrison and Flint can have a great partnership ASLONG as there's a CDM to break the play up. They won't get dragged out of position (well rarely) trying to fill that gap. So pace will then be irrelevant.
