Song for Gavin

Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:48 pm

I am pleased that Warnock and Co have brought in new players who are either at their prime or nearing their prime. Flint is older but has a few years left in him as a centre half. As with most supporters I am really looking forward to seeing Gladzel. There is always hope that with a foreign import he have unearthed a gem. That said remember Acorn AND also Gladzel cost less than Madine and he has been a big disappointment
Anyway I think that in a few years time we may all be saying that Gavin Whyte was a great buy. (Hope so anyway) - maybe the best of the bunch  the
So what about a song...
How about (to the tune of December 1963 (oh What a night)

Oh Gavin Whyte
What a player he turned out to be
He is everything we dreamed he'd be
What a winger
Gavin Whyte!
:bluebird:

Any better suggestions??

Said in the summer of 2017 that NML would be one of our best signings of recent years given the fee and all that goes with it.

Think I was right on that.

Similar feeling about Whyte, even though he's down the pecking order.

Gavin Whyte is magic he wears a magic hat

And when he sees a lamppost he says he’ll fancy that

He’ll be there day and night with them magic feet

And when we win the championship we’ll be wanking on the street

Shouldn't we at least wait to see if he is any good, before gracing him with a song :?: Or do all players now get a song, brilliant or bad? Sorry to sound :old: but songs were usually kept for terrace heroes  just an opinion, don't shoot me please :laughing5: :old: :bluebird:
