We can’t make anybody go. I think we’ve just got to look at whatever clubs come in for. You just don’t know with deadline, you could get a silly offer for one of your players. Anything can happen nowadays with the Premiership as it is and the Championship.
I think I’ve just got to play that by ear.
It’s nice to know I’ve got my main targets now, and I’m only looking for, probably, a squad striker that can give us something different.
And if I have to make do with midfield and right-back, as people say, then I’m quite content with that.
I think Curtis Nelson’s had a really good pre-season, we’re working on him in case anything happens to Peltier. We’ve got Bacuna who can play there, who’s played there in the Premiership at right-back, and Jazz Richards who’s unfortunately got this knee ligament injury, he’s going to be another three or four weeks.
