Away day travel from Pembrokeshire

Thu Aug 01, 2019 12:48 pm

Hoping to attend a few away days as well as all the home games this season. Although orginally from Merthyr, 1 drawback is the 2 of us are living in Tenby. Bit of a longshot but I don't suppose anyone knows of any buses or any sort of travel put on for away games from down this way?

The fact you know what feltched is would suggest maybe it’s something you are in to. As I had a google it, a very uncommon word to the heterosexual male.

I do away games but we travel to Cardiff and catch supporters coach ! Travelling from here is murder eg brum is about 190 miles! from Cardiff its about 90 basically add 80/100 miles an away game compared to going from cdf ... must be dedicated to do it frequently :old:
Ps no coaches from here

The only coaches that leave Pembrokeshire are the ones that go to watch a worthwhile game at the Liberty.

Looks like there isn’t anything as expected then. Probably the only downside moving from Merthyr to Tenby. Most buses (not that there’s many) down here are for Man U and Liverpool not the Jacks.

If there are any others down this way who could be interested I could look into pricing up travel. I know of 4 (including myself) who would be keen and a minibus firm who would do mates rates for me.

I’ve had a house on the coast in Pembrokeshire for 18 years and been going there for thirty years or more and I’ve NEVER even seen a jack top, anywhere! Where do all these weird folk hide or are they just a myth like most things Swansea?

I live in Llanelli these days. For home games i use the train. I've stopped going to aways due to the lack of travel options (on buses that allow drinking).

I'm from pontypridd so used to travel with the RAMS. I miss those trips and the lack of alternatives these days makes it not worth it (and not so enjoyable).

We ,,use to do that but cost became to much with hotels going from, £39, to minimum £70 so now share car cost with mate in xhands! Other times we use train but that can be pain in arse with millions going to Swansea from cdf on 5.42 train its every man for himself to get a seat at times

Never seen any Swans supporters coaches Pemb.Allen. give Silcox coaches a call, or book yourself a visit to Specsavers.
