Just for others who are thinking of going to the Wigan match Saturday, I have phoned Wigan just now and they have confirmed to me that it will be Cash on Turnstile.

Pointless buying a £25 membership card - club just ripping people off and taking the money.

I realise that. I just don't see why supporters should pay £25 for the 'priviledge' of buying an away ticket.

The club could easily offer free membership - they choose paid membership. Just because they've always done this, and just because other clubs do it, doesn't automatically make it the right thing to do.

Oh yes, it is a CCFC shirt with 40 - Frost on the back, the Dear Lady has 21 - Babe Wabe on the back of hers (my silly little invented name for her!)

I think if I asked her to get a blue rinse, she'd be outraged! She is "21" after all not 70!

I'm absolutely with you there Stevee66. If, like me, you can only realistically get to a couple of away games a season, having a £25/person surcharge on top of that makes it not-do-able. It also makes it more tenable for people to find a stream or use the CityTV live coverage and VPN your country - in a way, it sort of encourages this sort of behaviour if you want to watch your beloved CCFC play live every match.

However, I appreciate that it is the way that clubs do things these days and it means that they can have a handle on who goes to matches, so if it's pay-on-the-day then great, if not one can have a few tinnies in front of the TV watching it minus the incredible atmosphere that we CCFC fans create!

In fairness, our match prices are not bad at all, does the £25 membership help subsidise this?
