' NEIL WARNOCK STILL READY TO MOVE THEM OUT '

Warnock today stated that some players will have to leave.

Problem/high wages

Greg Cunningham, Lee Tomlin, Gary Madine and Loic Damour all don't really feature in Warnocks team this season, unless they can't be moved on.

Neil Warnock still wants to move a number of players out as they don't feature in his plans, the problem is once again their high wages and their wages went even higher wnen City got promoted the season before last.

They might some of them once again have to be loaned out, with City still paying part of their wages. paying

GREG CUNNINGHAM, not in Warnocks plans and already looking for a new club.

LEE TOMLIN, been sent out on loan on a couple of occasions, been given chances, never took them, says he is ready this season, Warnock not planning on using him, but can really move Tomlin on as his wages are way to high, over £20,000 a week and it seems problems on and off the field follow him.

GARY MADINE, has made it clear he wants to find another club and does not want to be at Cardiff, Warnock has and is still willing to give Madine a chance, but also would move Madine on, but once again wages way to high over £20,000 a week.

LOIC DAMOUR, just does not seem to figure in Warnocks plans and also looking to move him on.

If players have clauses in their contracts that guarantee a pay increase on promotion surely they also have one that takes ot the other way on relegation.

If not, why not.

Wayne, for some reason it does not happen at 99% of clubs, which is totally wrong in my opinion.

It seems players always win and clubs suffer.

Cant see anyone paying money for them especially the wages

Ah a sign to today's professional footballer, doesn't want to be at a club but instead of looking for another at maybe slightly lower wages and playing the game they report to love they would rather warm the bench ( feign injury maybe ) to collect their huge salary's.

I think we should keep Tomlin and see how he performs (now that he's said his problems are behind him and he's made the effort to regain his fitness).

We need some creativity in the midfield and he's the one who is capable of providing this.

Warnock confirmed that players got a pay rise on promotion but a decrease on relegation at a press conference about a year ago

Warnock spent £14 million on (Madine, Tomlin, Cunningham and Bogle) plus how much on wages/bonuses (another £5 or £6 million?)

I doubt they have started 14 games between them.
Goals scored, possibly only 4, and 3 are attacking players.

There's Danny Ward as well to add to the list.

£20 million wasted, and counting.

Let's hope Gretzel is an exception to the striker signings. I'm looking to forward to seeing him play as at least he looks like he can head a ball.

I'm pretty sure tomlin will at least get a chance, maybe in the league Cup. Madine we could be stuck with unfortunately, similar to Le Fondre

The number of times I have read on here people unfairly slagging off Zohore and defending Madine. Some even saying that Madine played a key role in our promotion :laughing5:
I would love to know how much we have paid Madine in wages for the minutes played!! (Let alone goals scored!)

Then this article says Madine has made it clear that he wants to find another club and does not want to be at Cardiff.

If this is true and he doesn't want to be here, our management team should be busting a gut to get rid.

Im pretty sure that's standard throughout football. I think some of the bigger clubs have got caught our in the past thinking they were to good to go down. I don't think it would happen these days.

I am quite sure Madine does not want to be at Cardiff paticularly with the big Germans arrival. The key question is does he want to be away from Cardiff badly enough to take a pay cut maybe a large one. Can't see anyone wanting to pay him what we are.

Tomlin and Madine will they be staying or going?

NEIL WARNOCK:

"Yeah, all of them need to play regular football. Smithies as well, he needs to play football. The goalies have done really well in pre-season but unfortunately I can only use two of them. We’ve had one or two enquires for Damour as well."

SO can anyone explain why Madine was picked ahead of Bogle today????
And why does he get no criticism????
Imagine the reaction on here :( if Zohore had led the line!I
By the way has someone who attended the match commented on how Hoillet played???

(Fingers crossed for Glatzel and Whyte)
