I think Bogle will start Saturday (if he’s still here) and Gratzel will get half hour. Agree with the rest though. Very strong bench this season which we will need.

I would start Whyte and definitely find a space on the bench for Tomlin. Wigan away first match - how about taking some risks / brave decisions?
I will be severely pissed off if Reid isn't given a good run of games this season in his best position.

Reid has to be starting for me. He scored 19 goals the last time he was in the championship it would be stupid not to play him. Id also start murphy as well. If we are serious about automatic/playoffs we need to be beating teams like Wigan. NML, Murphy and Reid will cause defenders all sorts of problems with their pace this season. That said, Hoilett does offer more defensively so it is likely to be NML/Murphy and hoilett starting. Personally though I would prefer to get the goals and then tighten up rather than having to chase a game. But then I am not a professional manager haha.

We are going to be so dangerous from Long throws, crosses and corners, so I think he will try and keep it really tight at the back and not have to take too many risks going forward, that's what Warnock has always done.

Maybe Vaulks will feature a fair bit for his long throws?

I think you're close though I'd be tempted to go with an extra one in midfield at the expense of one of the attackers especially in the first half-4/3/3 formation.

Looks like Tomlin is in the under 23,s again today so can't see him travelling.
Prepare yourselves for some Hoof ball at Wigan and our midfield of Ralls and Vaulks running their legs off again.

The Football Association of Wales has been advised by the Deutsche Football League (DFL) that Robert Glatzel received a two (2) match suspension following a red card in a match for his former club 1 FC Heidenheim on 19th May 2019.

The DFL have confirmed that the Player has already served one (1) match (the 2.Bundesliga match between Vfl Osnabruck and 1 FC Heidenheim on 27.07.2019) so therefore has a one (1) match suspension left to serve which will be our opening match vs. Wigan Athletic.

City forward Robert Glatzel will be available for selection for the first time on Saturday, August 10th, against Luton Town

The club have posted on Facebook that Glatzel is available to start tomorrow.
