It will be interesting what we hear about the 3rd player and if or what happens :bluebird:

Another striker was down here today, be interesting what happens.

I hear that the club want around £2mill from City, also from abroad.

A 3rd player is due to arrive at Cardiff City tomorrow, Wednesday and meeting Neil Warnock with another medical arranged if all goes well tomorrow afternoon :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Really ?
Three league one players
One league two player
And aiden Flint

So far I'm not filled with confidence, I expected a higher calibre of player If I'm honest. Hopefully that is about to change

wow!!!!!!!!!! you really need to get behind the team and new players without writing them off before a ball is kicked, this is probably the best squad I have ever seen playing for City at this level in over 50 years

Good news.

Very happy with our recruitment this summer.

We've all said we desperately needed a new striker and now we have (maybe even two).

We've added a lot of depth to our defence as well, and brought in players who are proven at this level as well as some who are slight gambles.

Can't wait for the season to start. Most people I speak to say that they would have to make us one of the favourites for promotion.

It's been said before, but the height and physical strength our squad will be crucial from set pieces.

Won't be at Wigan, but roll on Luton at home.

Just because they r from
Lower divisions does not mean they are a bad player
Look at Jamie vardy

There are loads of talented players floating around the lower divisions

Come on the bluebirds

I wouldn’t waste your time on him mate, usual pessimistic garbage from this troll? He’s no city fan. Like u said Corky one of the best squads we’ve had in years, when you take into consideration our budget, absolutely smashing business by NW and the board.

Out of interest, what did you want/ expect?

We have signed a striker who has recently scored hat tricks against bayern Munich and Middlesbrough, a centre mid who scored and assisted plenty last season in the championship and is an international, the captain of a league one side and a young talented international winger...

It's crazy to me that anyone would complain where we buy our players from after the last two seasons. Mendez laing, with all due respect, was a nobody who had done very little in league 1. Neil Etheridge was the keeper at a league 2 side. For me they have been by far our best players over theast 2 seasons. That's before I even start talking about Hoilett, Bamba and Paterson.

We definitely need a RB although I do like Pelts Etheridge came in as a 2nd Keeper but have absolutely smashed it last 2 season, Reid looks decent we have signed the better Murphy brother Mendez-Laing came from nothing to be a decent appointment Neil Warnock is shrewd and very cunning with his signings if we get this German striker it might turn out to be the signing of the season here’s hoping back the boys!!!!

Oh dear. Done it now.

We said the same about the squad OGS put together in the championship.

Happy with a new striker and a few younger ones coming in
Love a bit of rawness in the middle of the park eager to impress and unpredictable at times on the ball.

Etheridge turned out to be our best signing ever in my opinion
Mendez laing is getting better each season

From lower leagues so let's give them a chance and see how they do if one turns into a hidden gem ide be very happy

I honestly think we have a better squad than that one definitely more depth and options and definitely a better manager... No argument there OGS was awful

I've been really impressed with how the club has gone about its business this year.

From the outside it looks like we've identified hungry players who will be desperate to grab their big opportunity. Even Flint is a good defender at this level who has something to prove after last season.

Yes they're not £15mil players but then teams like stoke and WBA spent big last summer and it doesn't guarantee you promotion.

Really excited to see how this team evolves over the season. Personally I can see Ralls and Reid being huge players for us. Both coming into their prime and I dont think we've seen the best from them.

I think I am entitled to my opinion about our signings, I am not overwhelmed by them, doesn't mean i am right, they could be fantastic or they could flop.it also doesn't mean you are right. If you have utter confidence that buying 3 league 2 players is the way to get out of the championship then good luck to you. I dont. We will soon see who is right and who is wrong.

Our budget should be a lot more than we have spent. We have massive parachute payments and have sold £11MILL of players last week

We have not signed a striker, there is rumours about a second tier German player that is all.

You cannot keep picking players from lower league and hope they step up sometimes you have to go with experience.alyhough I like the signing of White the others I doubt we will even see on the pitch
