Danny Ward

Does anybody else think Ward looks better as a right winger than a Center forward? Just his movement when he cuts in, and he’s scored a couple of beauty’s outside with his left for us. Sort of how it was Noones trademark to cut in and shoot (albeit maybe a bit too much to the point every defender predicted it) but I’d like to see him adopt that position maybe, even if it’s just as a super sub. Thought we looked much more of a threat in attack when Bogle played through the middle and Ward was on the right wing.

We’ve just signed a winger today, leaving us with 4. Why would you move a striker to wing and he’d be 5th choice? Ward is a decent enough impact sub, don’t see him as any more, but I do love his effort. I can see him potentially being moved on.

I'm pretty sure he played wide for us a couple of times after he signed.

To be honest we have 4 decent side players so don't see it happening.
